The Feel of San Tan Valley
San Tan Valley isn’t an incorporated city — it’s a large, unincorporated community in Pinal County, governed directly by the county rather than its own city hall. It’s bordered by the San Tan Mountains Regional Park to the west and the Gila River Indian Community to the southwest, and despite having no municipal government of its own, it has grown into one of the largest unincorporated places in Arizona, with an estimated population around 110,700.
