Casa de Paz is one of the smaller 55+ communities I show clients in Mesa, with just 135 attached homes built between 1980 and 1984 on Mesa’s east side. If you want active adult living on a genuinely small, walkable scale rather than a sprawling master-planned community, this is the kind of neighborhood that fits.

The clubhouse and multipurpose room anchor most of the social activity — card games and neighborhood gatherings happen there regularly. Outside, residents have an outdoor pool, spa, patio, barbecue area, pickleball courts, and even a putting green.
