Sunland Village is built around its own 18-hole executive golf course, and that’s really the heart of the community, along with a clubhouse auditorium, two pools, and tennis and bocce courts that stay busy most of the year. Built mainly between 1974 and 1984, it’s one of the more active, socially built-out 55+ communities I work with, with a calendar that includes regular dances, movie nights, and resident clubs covering everything from cards to gardening.

Homes here have generally run from around $200,000 to $400,000, which tends to make Sunland Village a bit more accessible than some of the higher-end, gated options in the area while still delivering a genuinely golf-centered lifestyle. It’s a community I’d point toward buyers who want the amenities and activity level of a resort-style community without the premium price tag that sometimes comes with it.
